Kevin The Wise: How to make a Heart locket

The first thing to do is to settle on some amazing wood to make the
locket out of. It will take a lot of time to complete the project, and there
is really no reason not to make it out of the best wood availible. Whatever
wood you settle on, make sure it is a fairly dense hardwood. For my locket,
I used Purple Heart wood for the two outer layers, and Oak for the
inner layer. I really like the constrast that the deep purple gave to the
rather bland Oak.
